Working Principle & Process Flow — Bitumen Drum Mix Plant
The Bitumen Drum Mix Plant operates on a continuous mixing principle to produce Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). Cold aggregates are proportionally fed from feeders onto a charging conveyor, which delivers them into the rotating drying drum. Inside, a high-pressure burner heats the aggregates while removing moisture. In the mixing zone of the same drum, hot bitumen and mineral fillers are injected and thoroughly coated onto the heated aggregates.
