Working Principle & Process Flow — Wet Mix Macadam
Calibrated aggregates from four bins are proportioned on a collecting conveyor using belt-scale feedback. Water is metered to match the target Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) and sprayed inside a twin-shaft pugmill, where materials are rapidly blended for uniform moisture and gradation. Optional cement/admixtures are dosed via screw feeder under PLC interlocks. Mixed WMM is discharged to a surge hopper or directly into tippers for laying and compaction.
