Working Principle & Process Flow — Asphalt Drum Mix Plant DM Series
In the DM series drum mix plant, cold aggregates are fed through individual bins onto a collecting conveyor, then into a rotating drum where they are dried and heated by a burner. As the aggregates move towards the discharge end, mineral filler and bitumen are injected and thoroughly mixed with the hot aggregates. Exhaust gases are routed through pollution control equipment before release. Sensors monitor aggregate flow, bitumen temperature, and mix discharge temperature to maintain consistent quality.
